Harman International

Infotainment

With more and more companies diversifying and able to offer extremely broad products and services, a common challenge is trying to describe what they do. Harman International is the parent company for some of the most recognizable brands in consumer electronics. At the same time, they develop proprietary technology, especially in automotive integration.

Eriche Funke (we love his last name!) at TBWA\CHIAT\DAY approached us to help tell this complex story, where brands and technologies are linked to a mothership. Our concept was to reduce the Harman logo to a pixel which represented possibility and contained all of its capabilities in one dense point. Dominique Manning Campodonico was agency producer.

Bryan is a gifted animator and understands real-world physics and the nuances that make movement appealing.  Collaborating with Bix on sound was one of the most fulfilling aspects of the project, taking our pixelated world and matching it to a granular sound elevated the project to a new level.  We continue to cherish our time with Bix.  He’s a monster.
